Createc is seeking talented and ambitious individuals to join their new Fusion business creation programme.

The Fusion programme will provide a salary for 2 years, structured business training, mentoring and support to see you on your way to being a successful CEO.  

Successful candidates will team up and work closely with highly skilled, technical co-founders to spin out their own companies based on the application and development of Createc’s cutting-edge technologies in image processing, video analytics and robotics.

This opportunity will suit motivated individuals with a natural entrepreneurial flair and strong determination to succeed.

How it works

• Salaried for up to 2 years, full time based in Oxford or Cumbria, UK.
• Team up with a specialist CTO co-founder.
• Explore Createc technologies and IP, identify applications and assess the opportunities.
• Work closely with your CTO co-founder to de-risk the opportunities and technology, develop a credible business plan and pitch it to Createc to secure their support for your idea.
• Form an Executive Team, secure funding and start your business.

If being a CEO is new to you, don’t worry. Fusion will provide 15 business training workshops, 1-to-1 mentoring from coaches with previous CEO experience, plus support throughout from Createc’s Fusion team.

Experience and expertise

• Good degree in physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science or similar, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in industry preferred.
• People or product management experience within an early-stage or fast-moving technology business.
• Experience of managing a project and budget.
• A good understanding of markets, product positioning and innovative business models.
• Demonstrable interest in and understanding of the fields of sensor and vision systems, image analytics and/or robotics.
