We are currently recruiting for an internal communications officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis in our Bristol office. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a passion for employee engagement to join our growing communications team.

The role will be responsible for delivering clear, consistent and efficient internal communication to ensure that organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated between managers and employees and between departments. The post holder will work across the business globally to gather contributions from internal sources and craft and curate regular and relevant communications to employees.

Key job accountabilities include

  • Ensure organisational strategy, initiative and projects are successfully communicated to employees.
  • Streamline internal communications, ensuring right level of flow and appropriate channels are maintained.
  • Drive a ‘drumbeat’ of regular communications, ensuring company-wide and location-specific messaging is clear, consistent and delivered through the most relevant and impactful channels.

About you

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience of internal communications in a digital environment for a large organisation.
  • Experience of internal communications channels, preferably Office 365 and yammer.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and networking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities.
