At present, we have several ongoing projects with leading research groups to build and market the first ever commercial Quantum Computing Control System. To ensure successful adoption by our customers, we are looking for an Application Scientist Quantum Computing to strengthen our Marketing & Sales team in Zurich.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide application-specific customer support, including on-site system integration.
  • Acceptance testing of quantum computing control system to meet scientific requirements.
  • Work closely with product management to transfer the latest scientific results in quantum computing into acceptance criteria for product development.
  • Produce marketing material such as product documentation, website content, blog posts, application notes, videos, newsletter contributions, etc.
  • Establish new and maintain existing customer contacts, securing future sales mainly related to quantum computing.

Your profile

  • A PhD in physics, mathematics, or computer science with a solid scientific track record in quantum computing research.
  • Programming experience in a quantum computing framework, e.g. Qiskit, Cirq, PycQED, etc.
  • Deep understanding of different software layers and interfaces in the quantum stack.
  • Practical experience in the experimental implementation of quantum computing.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, good writing skills are an important asset.
