, starting on or preferentially before December 1st, 2019, in the ﬁeld of theoretical atomic physics/quantum ﬁeld theory, or related disciplines. The successful candidate(s) should have expertise in gauge ﬁeld theory, develop an interest in atomic physics, and be well versed in large-scale analytic calculations and numerical algorithms. The appointment will initially be for one year, with a possible prolongation for another year.
The physics department of Missouri University of Science and Technology has recently broadened the scope of activities on the borderline areas of ﬁeld-theoretical models of solid-state systems, astrophysics, and theoretical atomic physics.
