Our role in keeping the nation safe is to manufacture, maintain and develop the warheads for Trident, the UK’s ultimate deterrent. As a physics graduate with us, you could train to be a Theoretical, Computational, Experimental, Mathematical or Criticality Physicist, or as a Systems Assessment Scientist or IT Scientist. Whatever your role, you’ll have the freedom to experiment using state-of-the-art facilities, including supercomputers, high power lasers, pulsed energy systems and experimental chambers.
