The Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Riverside invites applications for two faculty positions: one tenure-track Assistant Professor position and one tenured Associate Professor position. The positions may be in any area of chemistry, including analytical, inorganic, materials, organic, physical, or theoretical chemistry. This search is part of the University of California Office of the President Advancing Faculty Diversity recruitment program.
The Assistant Professor Position
The Assistant Professor appointment will include an option to complete up to a year of postdoctoral training in the United States in 2020-2021. During the enrichment UCR will provide salary and benefits, support for travel, and funding for research expenses. The appointment to the rank of a tenure-track faculty member at UCR for the Assistant Professor position could have an anticipated start date of either July 1, 2020 or July 1, 2021.
The Associate Professor Position
The tenured Associate Professor appointment would be under the title "Provost's Professor for Advancing the Physical Sciences." The appointment has an anticipated start date of July 1, 2020.
