The Department of Physics at the University of Siegen invites applications for an appointment as

Full Professor for Theoretical Particle Physics
(W3 salary level)

We are looking for an experienced scientist with international reputation who has made significant contributions to the field of particle physics phenomenology with a focus on applications of effective field theories in flavour and collider physics. The successful candidate is expected to strengthen and complement the research activities of the Theoretical Particle Physics group at the University of Siegen and to play a leading role in future coordinated research projects.

The successful candidate will teach courses over the full range of topics in Theoretical Physics at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in physics, a proven first-rate research record and to possess the required pedagogical skills for teaching.
