The University of St Andrews is seeking to appoint a faculty position in experimental biophysics/biophotonics within the School of Physics & Astronomy. The School is internationally recognized for its research, in particular the field of photonics and its application to biology and medicine. Our Centre for Biophotonics and the Mackenzie Institute for Early Diagnosis provide excellent opportunities for interdisciplinary research.

Applicants should have a strong record in research creativity, clear vision of how their work will develop and complement our existing research strengths. Well-established research portfolios, proven abilities to establish national, international collaborations and secure research funding will be considered for Reader/Chair positions.
