University of St Andrews – School of Physics & Astronomy

The University of St Andrews is seeking to appoint a faculty position in experimental biophysics/biophotonics within the School of Physics & Astronomy. The successful applicant will augment the School’s current portfolio of world class research activities, and play an active role in the Mackenzie Institute for Early Diagnosis and the Centre of Biophotonics, current interdisciplinary strategic initiatives of the University. They should be strongly committed to both research and teaching.

Applicants should have a strong record in research creativity, and a clear vision of how their work will develop and complement our existing research strengths.  Applicants with well-established research portfolios, and proven abilities to establish national and international collaborations and secure research funding will be considered for Reader/Chair positions.
