To strengthen further our impedance analysis business, we are looking for an Application Scientist to grow our Marketing & Sales team in Zurich.

Your responsibilities

  • Establish new contacts with customers and maintain existing ones to secure future sales.
  • Represent Zurich Instruments at major trade shows and visit customers worldwide.
  • Analyze market requirements and contribute to the development of impedance analysis products; strengthen Zurich Instruments' technology leadership.
  • Refine product key features, tune marketing messages, and talk to opinion leaders.
  • Stand as an integral part of the internal team for all impedance-related matters.
  • Produce material such as website content, blog posts, and application notes.

Your profile

  • MSc or PhD in Physics or Electrical Engineering.
  • A solid technical background with years of practical lab experience, including use of impedance analyzers and lock-in amplifiers.
  • Knowledge of dominant methods for impedance measurement and modeling, understanding of the broader impedance instrumentation market, and strong overview of relevant research communities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluent English is a must.
  • Programming skills in MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, and/or C.
  • Experience in sales and/or an interest for this area of responsibility.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and know-how of basic marketing strategies are an advantage.
