Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology is a new research institute established by the Government of Shandong Province, China. Focusing on the basic laws of material and major innovations in cutting-edge technology, the goal is to perform forward-looking research in the field of math, physics, engineering technology and information science. Meanwhile the institute will provide the outstanding environment for researchers, especially for young researchers, to conduct creative study in the frontiers of science.

Targeting on an equal, free and open research atmosphere, Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology is searching for outstanding researchers domestic and oversea based on their creativity and academic activity. Researchers of the institute have solid working experience in well-known institutions worldwide, including the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Pennsylvania, California Institute of Technology, University of Geneva, and Tsinghua University, Peking University.

Collaborating with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology has leading academic resources, such as the global data centre of the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) experiment, and world-class experimental facility. Planning on the construction of two large-scale international scientific facilities, the institute will provide adequate support for researchers’ future careers.
