We are looking for an experienced receptionist to join the Institute of Physics to meet and greet visitors to the building and provide administrative support to Corporate Services and IOP Enterprises teams.
- The general running of the reception area
- Meeting and greeting all visitors to the Institute
- Dealing with all meeting room requests
- Booking couriers and taxis as required
- Signing for deliveries.

To be successful in this important front-of-house role you will have the ability to work largely unsupervised, with excellent communication skills and a highly professional attitude. You will be dependable and able to work as a team player, be flexible in your work and have the ability to multitask.
You will have proven experience in a customer-care environment, with good customer service skills, excellent telephone manner and a strong command of English. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required and GCSE English and maths, or equivalent, at grade C or above.

Salary: £21,500 – £23,000
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until April 2018
