Extreme Light Infrastructure - Nuclear Physics (ELI-NP) will be a new Center for Scientific Research to be built by the “Horia Hulubei” National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH) in Bucharest-Magurele, Romania.
ELI-NP is a complex facility which will host two state-of-the-art machines of highperformances:
- A very high intensity laser, where beam from two 10 PW lasers are coherently added to get intensities of the order of 1023-1024W/cm2;
- A very intense (~1013γ/s), brilliant γ beam,~ 0.1 % bandwidth, with Eγ > 19 MeV, which is obtained by incoherent Compton back scattering of a laser light off an intense electron beam Ee> 700 MeVproduced by a warm linac.
We are seeking candidates for Technician positions, in Lasers, Particle Accelerators, Optics, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, IT, or Nuclear fields at ELI-NP.
The description of the position, Candidate profile and the Rules of Selection may be found at http://www.eli-np.ro/jobs
We offer outstanding working conditions, a motivating European salary, andthe opportunity for a successful career.
The applications shall be accompanied by the documents required in the Rules of Selection.
Applications shall be addressed to the Human Resources Department at email@example.com.
