Diamond Light Source is the UK’s national synchrotron science facility. Located at Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, Diamond enables world-leading research across a wide range of scientific disciplines and industrial applications.
The prime sources of synchrotron light in the Diamond storage ring are magnetic devices known as “insertion devices”. Diamond is now seeking to appoint a Head of the Insertion Device Group to manage the key role of construction, operation and future development of insertion devices.
